Joy B. Ferro
Joy Ferro’s program development and management experience began with the National Retail Merchants Association, where she planned and organized conferences for the retail industry’s top management across the United States, Mexico and Europe.
During her years in Washington, DC, Ms. Ferro was with the Republican National Committee, where she served four and a half years in key positions including consultant on fundraising for campaigns across the country and Executive Director of Contests and Credentials for the Republican Convention. After a record of success, she was asked to serve as Director of a major donor program for the RNC. Ms. Ferro then went on to develop and manage numerous PAC receptions for members of the U.S. Congress.
Ms. Ferro was appointed to the New York City Commission on the Status of Women in 1996 and served on the Commission until 2001.
In addition to her consulting work, Ms. Ferro co-founded the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program in 1994 and serves as Executive Director. The program, an intensive summer vocal studies program in Tuscany, Italy, is dedicated to excellence in training for young artists and has been featured in The Huffington Post and Opera News. Due to Ms. Ferro’s fundraising, the program provides scholarship aid for talented young artists, many of whom have made their debut at major opera houses, including The Metropolitan Opera in New York.
